WZ.Grapher Funktionsgraph-Plotter Von Walter Zorn     27. 8. 2004: Version 0.84 is out, with extended integration capabilities. See History of WZ.Grapher for what else has been changed.   WZ.Grapher is an intuitive, small and fast Function Graphing and Math Program written in C language. The mathematical functions supported by WZ.Grapher Function Grapher include, for example, all 12 trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, their inverses (e.g. acosh which is the inverse hyperbolic cosine...), logarithms with arbitrary bases, the Exponential Function exp(x), radicals with arbitrary exponents, the Gamma Function, and complete as well as incomplete elliptic integrals. Of course WZ.Grapher Function Graph Plotter understands the standard arithmetical operators +   -   *   / :   ^ ** (the last two for exponentiation), and function expressions nested by grouping symbols (parentheses).       Extras Compared with the Online Function Grapher, the WZ.Grapher Function Graph Plotter is not only much faster, but also better configurable, and provides extended capabilities, such as:   +  Zooming and scrolling the displayed range, selecting a zooming rectangle with the mouse.   +  Numerically computing integrals, and drawing their integral curves.   +  Numerically solving differential equations of the first and second order, and drawing their solution curves. WZ.Grapher can not only solve initial value problems - you may place the basic value (the point through which the solution graph must pass) anywhere inside the displayed range of x.   +  Saving your work as WZG files.   +  Copying and pasting graphs into other applications, such as Office Suites (e.g. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OpenOffice), Graphics Programs and Image Viewer (e.g. Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro, MS Paint, IrfanView).   +  Saving graphs as pictures to disk.   +  Switching the background colour, changing the line thickness.   +  Accessing operations via right-click menu (context menu), keystrokes or even Mouse Gestures.   +  Function calculator. Can evaluate single values as well as value tables, including the according derivative values. These values/tables can straightly, via a buttonclick, be copied to the clipboard and hence be pasted into other programs/documents such as Excel spreadsheets etc.   Despite these and many more features, the size of the application is still very small, just 196 kB (download size: 102 kB!), and memory usage is quite frugal (though I doubt anybody cares).

Installation of WZ.Grapher Download the ZIP file of your preferred language and unzip it to the directory you wish, preferably however to 'Program Files/WZ Grapher' (english) or 'Programme/WZ Grapher' (deutsch). No further installation required. Just click on wz_grapher.exe to start the application. To uninstall WZ.Grapher, delete the file wz_grapher.exe or the directory containing it.
